Eric Yu is an aquaculture entrepreneur specialising in grouper production. He has always been active and passionate in marine conservation and environmental education. As part of the Sabah Shark Protection Association, he has run more than 50 'No Shark Fin' campaigns with children in kindergarten and secondary schools. Previously, he worked and help built The Green Connection Aquarium and was involved in biodiversity and environmental education. He also set up aquarium fish, rays and sharks cages for Green Connection at Laksian, Pulau Banggi and has coordinated Australian volunteers carrying out community project at Pulau Kaluapuan, Semporna. Before that, he worked in pharmaceutical sales for seven years before deciding to do something meaningful rest of his life.
